The story: Moroccan rugs are handmade by artisans and are crafted with love and patience. The traditional art of hand-weaving is deeply embedded in the Moroccan culture.  The skills continue to be passed from one generation to the other from the antique and vintage to the new contemporary rugs. 

Material: They are made of natural wool and/or cotton. The beautiful colours are sustainably made with natural dyes such as vegetables and other earth elements.  

Note that these rugs may come with their wear and tear. There may be repaired or unrepaired tears, fading, flattening of rug piles in some areas etc. The older the piece, the more wear you can expect with age. Each piece has a story to tell and any wear is honourably a part of that very story.
